What the real test looks like
The Unmanned Aircraft – General (UAG) test is 60 multiple-choice questions with 3 options each, taken at a PSI testing center. You have 2 hours, the fee is $175, and you need 70% (42 of 60) to pass. After passing, you apply for the remote pilot certificate through IACRA and pass a TSA security check. There is no re-test to stay current: every 24 calendar months you complete the FAA’s free online recurrent course instead.
